Become an Approved Driving Instructor

Your path to your new career:

Step 1

Before you go any further do your homework – The Driving Standards Agency produce a full document on “your road to becoming an approved driving instructor” also known as the ‘ADI 14’

Step 2

Have a personal appointment. Talk to us about your situation and find out how we tailor training to suit your current work, financial, and personal commitments. Contact us

Step 3

Commit 100% to your personal development!  - The training can last anywhere from 20 weeks upwards depending on you/your abilities/and availability of test dates. (You can alternatively take the fast track residential route for a faster approach)

Step 4

Start your training and complete the exams;

• Part 1 – Theory
• Part 2 – Practical test of your personal driving abilities
• Trainee licence – experience and start earning
• Part 3 – Practical test of your instructional abilities
  
  

Step 5

Registration with the DSA as an Approved Driving Instructor ‘ADI’
